Maybe they watched us all season? 
This is the same team that lost to Southern and Northwestern State and got swept by a Texas team that didn't even make the tournament. Sure, they're healthier and playing better now, but you have to admit there is room for doubt. Plus FSU just rolled a Top 5 national seed and Top-5 RPI team from the SEC that took a series from us during the regular season. We beat...Southern Miss.

Not every little sportswriter is going to think LSU wins its Super. Vanderbilt or UCLA either.
There will be sports people that will write and talk about how they believe Texas will beat LSU in football as well.
Its truly an amazing phenomenon, worthy of a post in here without a doubt.

They want FSU to win for the storybook ending for a hall of fame coach who finishes his career in Omaha. FSU in Omaha is not an unimaginable stretch, but the sports media loves these type of stories so if they aren’t invested in LSU, they’ll go for the story.

Guess they decided to not watch FSU all season. Same team that beat top 5 UGA also got swept by UF and one of the last teams to make it into the tourney.

Fsu just scored almost 40 runs in 3 games. 20+ against a good Georgia pitching staff. Maybe they don't think we can hang with that. I have faith that we will come to play and go to the CWS.

The NCAA article also picked OM to win the Fayetteville SR. If I’m betting on that one, my money’s on Arky. You’re right, It’s just projections of staff writers.

We haven’t exactly been dominant. FSU was extremely dominant against the number 4 national seed.
