Why is everyone picking against us?

Every news article I've read is picking Florida state in 3 when we are playing at the box which is easily the most hostile environment in the nation. Why?

Because they just hate Coach Paul and don't realize what an awesome coach he is, and that winning one NC in 10 years should give him a lifetime contract!

Neither of those guys who wrote that have probably watched a second of LSU baseball. They just look at the stats.

They were a preseason top 10 and almost missed the tournament.

Probably because FSU dismantled UGA in the regionals. I think LSU advances in 3, but it's not going to be easy.

I would think 2 factors:
- FSU already went on the road and beat 2 very good pitchers, 2 guys who are better than the two we will send out.
- the Martin farewell tour. I think they’re playing out of their minds for their coach. That can go a long way.
Not saying I agree that they’ll win but I think those things have to at least be considered.

Well, FSU may in fact win this weekend, but I'd bet a whole lot of money that FSU doesn't sniff the CWS finals.
Rallying for the skipper can only take you so far. Hopefully Baton Rouge is as far as it takes them.
