He would have to sit out a year or go down a level.
Because he has used his free transfer already. Unless he has something that warrants a waiver or is a grad transfer he will have to sit out or play at an FCS or lower school or JUCO.

Harris played in 5 games at A&M and 5 games at LSU, so he hasn't redshirted. He would not be eating a year of eligibility next year as a transfer, because he can redshirt.
Chestnut only played 4 games this year, so he can take a redshirt for this year and be a grad transfer if he can graduate.

This opportunity has drifted by.

Yep baldy will lose out on what’s left of any insight into the program.

I hate to see these young men with God given talent through their opportunities away.

BK has Harris sitting out the portal for the next 4 weeks.
I had my hot chocolate mug cupped in both hands, had just taken a large gulp, and I LOLed and sprayed it through my nose. I had to change my shirt and drawz, wash off my face and hands and my couch, and then am smelling hot chocolate embedded in my sinus cavities since then.

I think he will remain with the team, but who knows.

I know y'all are dying to dump on him and say nasty "good riddance" things, but....
I hope he says his act of contrition, humbles himself, stays in shape and comes back ready to prove all you nega-fans who love to shite on players going through troubles wrong, and gives us the type of playing skills that a 5-star rating promises....win-win!

Has anyone confirmed he has eligibility issues? Or are you just insinuating he's got poor grades, without having a clue if you're right or not- just like all the dummies who said Angel was out because of academics....

Chestnut looking to grad transfer.

Chestnut is probably just waiting on graduation to be official so he can grad transfer without issues.
If Harris wants to leave, his best bet is probably going to the FCS and then trying to transfer back up if he has a good year.

I didn’t insinuate anything about his academic eligibility. “Eat the year of eligibility” meant sit out a year if he transfers without getting a waiver.
Guess it’s hard to read these tiny letters from way up on that high horse.

Well frick yeah. We and he both have that in common.

He would have to sit a year. I don’t think u can do it twice unless you are graduate transfer
