Early in the Bertman regime we did. He was Kenny Kleinpeter.

They stopped the organist for financial reasons. Good times.
Just PIPE organ music IN.

The LSUAD excels at that!, you know.

Is "Every Breath You Take" one of them. When you said "wedding" that was the first thing that came into my head.

Yes. Kenny is my dad’s cousin. He was super talented, and had sort of an edge to him. At one regional game that we were hosting, the umps made a terrible call. When they were convening to talk over the call, Kenny played an ump’s favorite song: “Three Blind Mice.” He was actually ejected for doing this, and the crowd all stood up and gave him a standing ovation, whistling, and waving their hats to him as he was escorted out of the booth.

Yeah, the Coach’s Committee was paying him something like only $35 per game. He mostly did it for a love of LSU and the fun of playing the music for the crowd. But, yeah, they decided they could cut out the $35 per game and just use recordings of organ music.

Krazy Kyle had a portable setup.

Just a Yamaha keyboard hooked into their system. No one owns an organ anymore and honestly the organ at ball games is a dying tradition.

Maybe you should offer to buy an organ, pay to have it installed, and pay the salary of the organist to play it. It would be cool to have one, but it doesn’t really make monetary sense for a sport that loses money, despite having the largest attendance in NCAA baseball.

Does the school of music not have anyone that can play an organ?

Maybe a musician alum can help us get an organ.

I don’t get the hate for it. I’m sure it’s cost prohibitive to what they have now so they won’t. Don’t believe a lot of stadiums anywhere have them anymore. It’s a tradition that I wish wasn’t dying. Some old school ballpark things should never change.

Considering how lsu treats the fan experience, this would not surprise me
