Men's basketball is the sport with the most growth potential. It just needs a little love and attention.

Football>baseball>gymnastics>basketball

The pecking order at this time. Basketball self imposed a death penalty pretty much to save football.

I just watch baskeball during march madness. I'm not getting invested in men's college baskeball most them are 1 and done. This isn't like back in the day with Runnin Rebs of Unlv, Great Duke, Great UNC teams, and Arkansas Thurman Thomas days. I rather be invested in women's basketball more at least they will be around for 4 yrs and fans will get to know them at the school longer.

Have you seen Alabamas 1950s style arena? It’s not holding them back from being good.

Alabama is getting ready to build a new arena.

Worse than the PMAC are the lack of high quality other facilities that other programs have.

Women’s basketball should be third after baseball

It's just SEC basketball. All the eggs are in football. Kentucky is the only consistent exception. Until the league changes, LSU will follow suit.

May it’s love and attention not involve it’s HC behaving like amateur recruiter by serving up the paper trail to his execution.

Focus is in football and baseball, as it should be. Basketball has lost its luster and appeal when you have overlapping sports.

There's absolutely nothing about the physical structure of the Pete Maravich Assembly Center that's causing the basketball team to lose games being played there.

Men’s basketball does not actually bring in any money to the school unlike football

Win and most, or all, of the problems get solved. Lose and have an empty PMAC not making revenue.

Cheaper to collect the TV check, pay low end coaches who won’t push for upgrades, take the Ls and call it a day. The Admin doesn’t care about basketball, there’s no argument against that.

The OP or reply was never about why aren't they good.

Bama just spent 32.7 million on arena renovations 2 years ago and are about to build a new one.
