I lost interest in Palmer after his constant his negativity. Especially that specifically. He almost tries too hard to be beyond objective.

Hunt Palmer is the best talent they have on that station.

Hunt is by far my favorite LSU media member. He’ll tell you what he thinks and isn’t afraid to admit when he’s wrong, etc. If you want someone who pretends to know it all Moscona and Ruffino are good options.

Shut your whore mouth. Hunt can do no wrong.

I guarantee its no where near as many times as Brandon Taylor says "Most defenitely" in the LSU postgame show

Because he tells it like it is. He's not a "Mr. Important" know-it-all sensitive pussy like Moscona. Hunt is authentic. A "one of us" kind that understands he has a local radio show, and he doesn't pretend to be more than that.

A few things.

First, I always appreciate the kind words here. And I appreciate those who listen.

I try to be as transparent as I can. When I know something, I’ll say it. When I’m talking about a rumor, I clarify. Like today I said I wasn’t clear on Charlie Weis Jr.’s contract at LSU…because I’m not. It would be easy for me to say “lol, Ole Miss, that’s dude’s never coming back!!” And that would play to an LSU audience, but I don’t know it to be true.

I consume A TON of audio content, and a lot of it comes from people in my position who love the school or team they cover whether they admit it or not. I’m turned off by false confidence. So I try to avoid it.

I’m aware that I’m not the smoothest on air. I’m not the funniest guy. But I’m prepared, passionate and try to be transparent. That’s all I can really be.

I’m better than I was when I started. And I try my hardest to avoid “uhhs” and empty words. It’s 10 hours a week which is a lot.
