They are SC guys or O guys. He loves em. He didn’t hire Raymond and so I doubt he feels any loyalty to him. I truly hope Raymond doesn’t leave but he deserves better and guy needs to do what’s in his best interest. If he’s not getting loyalty and respect from his own alma mater that he deserves, I hope he gets it somewhere.

Do people not read this and see what's coming for this program in the near future?

Ed Orgeron is getting his buddies paid while highly qualified assistant coaches contemplate departing?

LSU does not win 9 games this year without that defense and the exceptional talent / performance of the DBs. What happens when that pass defense, the slight edge LSU has against most teams, goes away or decreases?

Robinson got more out of Brossette than anyone was expecting this season. That's worth a couple 100k

This is EXACTLY what I expected from Brossette. He averages 4.37 ypc and is basically a backup playing the starter position . He is 20th in the SEC in ypc for runners with at least 100 carries, and of the 5 backs with at least 200 carries he is the worst in yards per carry average.

Not trying to hate, just stating the truth.

Here I saw the article and said damn a DB coach in college makes more than a surgeon, we need to rethink our career paths

it was the first thing i thought of when i saw that yesterday... Tommie is the RC though, so i can understand why he gets what he gets... Sullivan, i have no idea why he is at that much... thats insane... Creg is about 100k too much i think. Raymond should be right behind Tommie's salary in all honesty and should be either 4th or 5th highest paid...

Don’t any of y’all pay attention to what Derek and his minions post on here constantly? The offensive coaches deserve more money because they coach LSU’s no talent offensive players well beyond their capabilities! Raymond has it easy coaching all SEC level talent.

Robinson, OL Coach, and Jerry could be replaced almost seamlessly.

Try that with Corey. Pay the man!

He is the second most important coach on the staff, after Aranda.

Someone explain this

More to the point, why do we have a supposed WR coach on staff barely making over 200K? Bahhhh, baaahhh, he supposedly can recruit but WR corp still stinks come game day.

It appears to be all based on age or experience. Isn't that how state jobs work?

Without looking I bet Raymond hasn't been coaching as long. I am sure that is why, only thing that makes sense to me.

There is the pay we see on paper. Then there is the pay not seen on paper. I’d venture to say CR is compensated well.

The man year in year out has the best unit in the entire program. And also it's him who brings in the best talent in that unit !!!

Raymond is just the CB coach.

So did we cut his salary down to hire a safety coach when for years we had zero issues with our entire defensive backfield under Raymond?

Robinson actually has 3 titles, he’s also assistant head coach on top of being recruiting coordinator & RBs coach.

Cregg you had to hire away from the nfl.

Sullivan isn’t explainable

Raymond does need a raise tho. He was an LSU guy when they hired him without much experience as a coach.

Yeah, no one expected much from the career rushing leader in Louisiana.

Maybe he'd be further along with better offensive coaching.

Raymond got a $25k raise at the end of last year. Why would you assume his salary got cut?
