Why didn’t Eric Reid have a better nfl career?

Eric’s younger brother Justin is having a great game right now in the AFC championship. He’s had a very solid career. Better than his older brother Eric, who I thought would be elite at the next level. While he had a few good years, it didn’t last long. Why did he flame out? Was it all just because of getting political and caring more about being a sjw than playing football or was there injuries? Hard to believe he didn’t play a decade in the league.

He started all 16 games his final season and was on the field for 99% of Carolina's snaps, but he was a non factor.

He still signed with a team after that.

Injuries did him in, not his ideologies.

Not entirely true. No team is going to sign a backup with political issues. Just is not worth it.

Eric Reid's career started off well.

He just wasn't as good of a coverage safety as Justin.

The kapernick stuff affected the end of his career but it 2asnt like he was some all-pro.

He was a true strong safety. Teams weren't going to put up with thr headache for a ss.

Maybe he should go try professional sports in China, Iran or North Korea if he felt so oppressed here

Justin is a stud. Another example of the lower rated LA athletes being great. I’ll never be mad at LSU signing the 3 star defensive backs and wide receivers from LA.

Didn't he have multiple concussions in the NFL? That is my recollection, his career was cut short due to concussions.
