Seems like you get it for the most part.
Plus their fans rave about him and think he should have been their starter last year and this year.
My only slight worry is him learning the offense and meshing with everyone in such a short period of time.
But I'd put a lot of money on the line betting that he will learn and mesh just fine, if not better than our other QB's.
He's a grown man who's already been developed/coached by a great QB coach.

I think it’s a good thing we haven’t seen anything “bad” from JB, but like the OP said we haven’t seen anything meaningful either.
From the limited things I’ve seen he looks a lot more polished than the other 3 on our roster.
Although the latest QB ‘competition’ at OSU could’ve been fabricated by CUM just to keep JB around as a backup, if it was indeed as close as the Buckeyes made it seem I find it encouraging that he was in a tight race with Dwayne Haskins (who will be damn good at OSU).

1- The unknown can be imagined as fantastic or horrible. People project whatever they want to believe and then strongly believe it.
2- Wishful thinking. No QB broke away from the pack through spring. Odds are that none are ready to play SEC football, and not that all are ready. Or to put another way, the odds of having three mediocre QBs are vastly higher than having three All American QBs. So the faithful HOPE that he is an SEC caliber QB because the former stable are probably not.
3- Hope+projection=absolute certainty of his talent.
I HOPE they are right!
