I went to the campus once and eventually twice every summer as a schoolboy. Never wanted to be anywhere else. Going to the campus, even with all the changes, takes me back to the years I attended the university, enjoyed the games and lived my dream. I’d take a time machine back to live those days again.

Born in Louisiana and grew up football-obsessed. My dad played for USL and the whole family—Grandad especially—rooted for LSU on Saturdays. It felt like a state-pride thing since the other teams were always from out-of-state.

Really picked up steam when Faulk arrived in the 90s (I was at Lafayette High while he was at Carencro).

Years later, when I joined the military and began moving all over the country. LSU was a connection to home and the fans.

Was given a Mike the Tiger stuffed animal the day I was born. Grew up with an LSU Alumnus father. Raised watching LSU and visiting Dad’s family in SE Louisiana as we moved all across the country from Florida to Ohio to Memphis to Dallas. Not much of a decision where I went to school... I came home to the only place I was ever meant to go. Graduated from LSU in ‘13 after changing majors twice. Been in Louisiana for 11 years now.

My dad wasn't a sports fan at all. When I was ten my oldest sister married a guy who had played baseball at LSU in the '70s. My sports fanhood was born at the raucous Tigervision BBQs at their house in the early '80s and LSU football will always be my first and dearest team. (But I went to ULM.)

Spent 10 years in the Army on active duty. Enrolled at LSU as a 28 year old, felt like an old man

EE degree in 4 years. G.I. Bill allowed for me to leave school debt free. I’ll tell you what, LSU makes it incredibly easy for prior service to enroll into school and makes the whole process seamless. LSU has given me so much, and I’ll always be dedicated to the school, always.

Start the LSU online MBA program in January and couldn’t be more excited about obtaining a Graduate degree.

My dad was a huge LSU fan and I grew up watching him watch football. Never even watched a game until I was in my 20s but when I did for whatever reason start watching I fell in love with the Tigers and have been infatuated with them ever since. I'm 53 now and have missed weddings, funeral wakes and numerous other events so as not to miss a game. Wish my dad were alive today to watch a game or two with him.

Some of my best childhood memories were traveling to Baton Rouge on a Winnebago with my dad's buddies to watch the Tiger's play on Saturday night and hanging out afterward waiting for the traffic to go down before we left. My dad was a diehard and I was pretty much raised to be a tiger fan.

I'm a third-generation LSU grad. I was dressed in LSU gear as a child and four of my five siblings went to LSU.

The school is in my blood.

Ive been a Tiger fan most of my almost 69 years. I can remember when Ed Sullivan always had the All Americans on his show.
When I saw Billy Cannon come out on the stage my brother and I went to doing humping jacks in the living room.
An uncle of mine was like an older brother and we would listen to the games on the radio at Mawmaws house, laying on the floor.
One of the biggest thrills of my life was my first walk into TS in ‘69. Saw a lot of quality football those 4 years.
I raised my sons as LSU fans. One chose the Navy over college but he is as strong a fan as any on the tRant. The other never caught the fever.
You don’t have to attend a college to be a fan. That’s plain silly but I hear that comment on here a lot.

My story here.
I went to college at the old USL but have been a Tiger fan all my life. I had an uncle who got me hooked on LSU. Work brought me to Baton Rouge where I have been for 40 years. I have had season tickets since then and attend other sports as well.
My proudest moment LSU-wise...the day my daughter graduated from LSU !!!
FOREVER LSU
