Same here BD, that's why it's called the rant.

Neither do you (ooc). That's because it's very rare for a team to actually lose and still be in the top 5, unless . . .

we beat #4 stanford
. . . They are in a conference where they only have to play one tough opponent a year.

Bama was ranked #6 when we beat them.

We watched the Auburn game against Oregon.

Did you watch the Auburn game against LSU where they ran for about 450 yards?

Do you know what type of athletes Oregon has in their backfield?

They did a better job shutting down AU than we did and their offense is exactly the type that we have trouble stopping (when the talent is there anyway)

I'm not so optimistic about the game. It will be close or an Oregon blow out. We're not blowing them out.

I'm predicting a close LSU win

We struggled with West Virginia at home last year. Oregon has a lot more talent on offense than WV did.

We held WV to 177 yards.

Man some things I just figured don't need to be said

I know our defense didn't struggle against their offense. I'm saying it was a close game at night in tiger stadium against an out of conference team. Oregon has more talent and we're playing them on a neutral field.

For me, its the new meat on the UO Off. line. we are returning some experienced studs up front, not to mention the Freak, i look for the middle to shut down, which forces them outside and in the air, if its any different, i will be shocked!

Tiger fans, please.....show some respect. We have a game to play this weekend and all of this won't mean a damn thing....

So please- try and keep the disrespectful comments towards the potsmoking SoCal rejects in the butt-ugly uniforms to a minimum.

Well I hope you're right. But Nevis could be a big loss. I don't know if I'm willing to bet the house on Freak Johnson

I'm pretty accustomed to people talking up big name recruits and seeing them take time to develop even though everyone claims they dominate in practice already

Oregon - 13 starters returning for this game O/D
LSU - 15 starters returning for this game O/D

The only reason I'm concerned is that we suspended our Qb for breaking team rules, which I guess shows you the difference in team rules among the two teams, and the ball size of the two coaches; and also the lost of Shep. Tack on The Jabbowacki being injured and that puts us down 3 starters. And dood, the "Oregon's backups are good" arguement? Really? So are ours last time I checked. Tharold Simon, backup. TM, backup. Spencer Ware? Gimme a f'ing break.

U lost credibility when u leave out the fact that kelly suspended all american cliff harris, arguably the best corner in college football, and the best punt returner in cfb for this game

We will speak at the end of the season.

If I'm wrong, I will admit it.

I seriously doubt you are here come Sunday, much less the end of the season.

Sorry but I do not see us shutting down their offense and unless we have an aggressive offense, we probably leave with a loss.
Hope I am wrong but based on the last 3 years of inconsistency and the loss of JJ, Shep and Josh D, it is not a gimme by any sense of the imagination.

The only team you raped last season was Louisiana Monroe. I think Stanford would have avoided their fate. Haha

I'll only come back at the end of the season if we're playing each other in the ship. no other reason to come back. I'll stop by Sunday for a sec win or lose

Exactly

We're going to have to dominate on both lines IMO and get some good play out of special teams

If anything I think it will be our special teams that will win us the game
