With all due respect, didn't Auburn run for over 400 yards verses LSU last year? Wasn't your D better last year due to having some key people LSU has since lost in the off season?

exactly, i have the upmost respect for LSU, they are the #4 team in the nation for a reason, i just dont get the lack of respect for Oregon by alot of people on here, yes i understand we arent in the SEC and that makes us pittiful in your eyes, but i think you should respect any team you face, ya just never know when that lack of respect can bite ya in the arse, just look at when Appalachin State smoked Michigan in the big house, im sure ALL Michigan fans thought that was gonna be a cake walk!

I am an LSU fan and am not confident. Oregon is fast, talented and will break 2-3 big plays. They can run with LSU. They could win the pac-12 and again be in the BCSNC game. Oregon is good, which is why this game and Oregon-Stanford are both college football top 10 games of importance this year.

Also, most improvement is between games 1 and 2 and this is game 1 for LSU...kinks to work out. PLus, the turmoil, QB change, etc.

You are right my friend...LSU couls be walking into a big trap.

but the always had someone there to make tackles.

also, cam newton was a beast and clearly not at his best against Oregon and that had nothing to do with Kenny Rowe and Boyett knocking the shite out of him.

I think this sums up what our mentality is on this game.

LINK FAIL == Oregon fans think they will fail?

D will be better this year no doubt. Secondary will be much better stopping the speed on the edges. Cam was great against us last year, but we have just about everyone back plus upgrades on the D line. So I am not worried. If Cam was not hurt in the NC last year, that game could of been worst for Oregon.

Cam hurt? Funny. I was at the game. Followed everything about the game. Never once heard anything about him being hurt. I mean, crap, they had nearly 2 months off!

Hurt? I think not.

Cam got knocked around from the beginning. Kenny Rowe plastered him on the first series. Set the tone.

If he means hurt by an Oregon player, then fine; I thought he meant he went into the game hurt. I never heard about him being hurt though, as I was at the game and never watched it on TV.

I expect a very competitive contest. Oregon is a great team.

I respect the Ducks- so much so that I have spent a great deal of time getting familiar with their team and coaching staff. I have no doubt that Coach Bellotti will have his squad ready to play our Tigers.

LMJ had a lingering leg injury since the Cal game...it's football and it takes its toll on every football player.

Still waiting to break down Chip Kelly's last big win against an OOC opponent... I keep getting a couple close games, but havent found one. New Mexico though... you showed them who was boss.

He took a big shot from our saftey Boyett in the 4th Quarter that left him laying on the ground for a lil bit, but yeah he took some punishment fromour D Line that game. Zac Clark pick him up by his arm and slammed him......should have been a fumble, but the refs blew the whiste early
