Why no night games. Not ideal for fans. Is there a reason for it?

It’s warmer during the day

IIRC, Johnson said the temps would be warmer and this would hopefully prevent arm injury.

You know what’s ideal for fans? Championship caliber teams. Let the man cook.

Also not everyone has the same schedule as you. Daytime baseball works perfectly fine for me and plenty of others.

That’s cute that you think the game is about you.

Well at least today we can say.

LSU Baseball - 2pm
LSU Softball - 6pm
LSU Basketball - 8pm

ALL AT HOME So which team should be the night game? Baseball takes more than 2 hours, Softball takes about 2 hours and of course the WBB will have PRIMETIME

Jay Johnson is afraid of the winter moon. The moon is much friendlier in the spring/summer.

Baseball much better during the day. It’s daylight and nicer weather.

Ideal for this fan. I can drive a couple hours each way, see the game, and get home at a reasonable time

That's pretty cool that they are doing that at Alex Box. They get some warm weather field time and cut down on travel costs. I cant imagine trying to play baseball for a Big 10/Midwest team. The low in DeKalb IL tomorrow is 18 deg.

I think I saw CJJ say it was to ensure LSU plays as many games as possible. Earlier start = greater chance to get it in if rain becomes an issue.

All I know is this, CJJ is a bad dude. I’ll all for whatever he wants to do. I don’t like missing the games due to being at work, just have to stay caught up when I can.

I don’t know, but it helps the slowest part of the work day go by.

Why would you say that? Simply asking why day and not night. If you know, please advise if not, no biggie. I’m watching either way. Some people on this board are really asses!

"Not ideal for fans"? The same fans who leave the stadium by the thousands after the 5th inning? Thursday nite in a one run game?

1. It's about the arms

2. Its because they are playing two games a day at the Box, CJJ wanted the early slot where he had a better chance of getting LSU games in.

He was worried storms might roll thru and cost his team a chance to compete. Let the man do.what he.wants.
