One of my favorite low rated players is JD Moore. I’m glad we don’t run the I anymore , but watching him lead block for LF7 was always fun.

I think Hester played in the NFL, not sure

JJets gets my vote here, but I wanted to throw a nod to Bennie Logan. 3* out of Coushatta worked himself into a 3rd rd NFL pick, outplayed much more highly regarded “Freaks”. Made LSU’s d-line stout in 2012.

Skylar green at Wr/ST, Webster & Claiborne at cb, highsmith at LB, steltz at fb, Williams at rb off top of my head. I think Mauck was a nobody also

Dude is now a legend and a testament that hard work and determination can take you a long way on the football field and in life!
Also a testament as to how flat wrong the recruiting services can be sometimes. Back then, Rivals was really the only game in town.

Dalton Hilliard was overshadowed greatly by the signing of Gary James. Yet, Hilliard stole the show each week.
He was even overshadowed by Catholic RB Karl Bernard, he was the third rated RB in that class.
But Stovall said about 2 weeks into camp, nobody could tackle him.
He was from a small AA school in Patterson so no one really expected anything. But from the first snap it was obvious he was special. And he gave us four years of high quality production so for me that trumps any other candidate.

Tyson Jackson was a good one for sure. I remember the story of his roommate coming home and wore a Scream mask just to scare Tyson. Tyson freaked out and picked the guy up and threw him through a window. It was the first floor, but it was still a window.
I think his roommate was another LSU football player too.

I would add Foster Moreau our only TE in the league.
Mason Taylor?

I totally forgot about Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Justin Jefferson. Who would have thought they would both end up first round draft picks?
