Think the answer is clearly Ole Miss. they will talk it up and treat it like their Super Bowl. Think Lane will downplay and try his best to treat it as their Super Bowl next game. If we go in and win by double digits I could see them going into downward spiral and finishing like 7-5. Then get progressively worse each year until they get another coach.

Either way i think the ratings will be the most watched game of the year and maybe more than some playoff games.

They don't always do it but when they really want to, and they WILL REALLY REALLY want to, it can be as hostile as anywhere

Our sparse crowd against McNeese after half time that this whole board complains about still has more people than that stadium.

I do. After Clemson walks into a Gorilla with a Chainsaw penis week 1 and Ole Miss gets whisky dick against Louisville and fails to score 40 in their rent a win week 2, LSU will be favored by 10 minimum.

If Im wrong I will say so. And BTW, that doesn't mean I'm calling a win in Oxford, Im old enough to have had more than my share of gut shots at the hands of Ole Miss.

Meh… I’ve been to plenty of games there growing up two hrs away. Shaking keys and Pom poms isn’t a big deal

Please post less and less to correlate with how much you care. This would be amazing.

Ole Miss fans keep bringing up home field advantage, but Oxford is pretty mid as far as the in-game atmosphere.

Oxford will be very hostile and loud. They are seething with rage and it'll be a night game. From the moment our team arrives in that town, they'll need a lot of security and will be harassed.

They'll also be trashy and throw shite at our players and Kiffin, you can almost guarantee that.

If we lose to them, I'll be mad, but not heartbroken. If Kiffin beats them, they'll collapse into depths of despair they've not yet chartered in their lives.

It will be as rowdy of a high school stadium as you’ve ever seen.

It seats 65,000 I think now and they bowled in the North endzone and put the students there. It's going to be very loud and very hostile.

We need to score early and have a takeaway on defense to really kill their spirits if we can.

I was there when they beat Alabama recently and it was a legit atmosphere. Our fans should stop discounting what it'll be like that night. We need to show up as much as we can. I wish I could be there.

I’ve got the O/U on fights at around 17, and arrests at 9. Regardless of the outcome.

Ole Miss. If they can’t beat us this year then they will never beat us again while we have Kiffin. They know that too

This is the correct answer. This is like LSU @ Alabama in 2007. Les had to win that game...we all kind of knew Saban was better, so that was the chance he had to have the superior team in his first season...

Yea, a loss would suck for us, but we'll move on and continue to get better. A loss for them would be devastating and i don't think they will handle it well at all.

Ole Miss would take the loss harder for several reasons:
OM made the 25 CFP. LSU was 7-6
OM returning Top 10 Heisman candidate their Quarterback
OM Ranked Higher Pre-Season (OM 10ish, LSU 15ish)
OM At Home
OM Lost their Coach to us, not the other way around

They will be devastated if they lose to us. I don't care who we lose to as long as we are better and make the CFP.
Hell, I'd rather beat Bama than OM if I had to choose 1 or the other. OM wouldn't say the same.
