Who is the last 7 to actually play well? Fournette?

DJ Chark. Most under appreciated WR in recent memory.

After checking his stats I might be inflating that a little. I just liked him. Good personality no drama. He was decent. Not iconic 7. Only 800 yards and 3 TDs as his best year.

# 7 needs to be given to a freshman
or thrown in the garbage or possibly used to clean out the locker of the person it was given to because he quit.

I would like to see the running back Williams with it.

Again I'd much rather we give it to a stud incoming freshman rather than just giving it to returning players.

Sure, give it to someone who hasn’t done anything on the field at LSU yet.

Give it to the best player: Maason Smith.

Couldn't Nabors or Perkins both wear that number since they play on opposite sides of the ball?

I could also see Mason Taylor wearing that number. As a true freshman, he was spectacular, not to mention making the big catch in the Alabama game.

I love the number thing but it need to go to the best and most freak athlete the 18 is for the team players etc.

7 should only be one…. Perkins, nabors or smith.

18 should be the lunch pail but possibly not generational talent guys, daniels, Wingo, brooks, can’t really see another unless you go turner of dellinger and (burns or Taylor possibly next year)

Edit: WILLIAMS!!! 18 should be Williams Or Wingo williams being priority!

Thats literally what happens when you have recruits come to campus, they choose their number. There should no longer be a "tradition" of giving out the number 7.
