Who/What is Behind This Madness?

In my time, I have seen the SEC go through:
Probations - Bama, UTenn, Arky, Auburn, UF, OM, State, UK (see here
Castrations (Hail State)
Gambling from the Dugout (RTR)
(and with a little more sleuthing. there's probably lots more to be unearthed)
But, to my knowledge, there were never any meetings to vote on expelling a member. This is all madness now.
So, who/what is behind this? (serious question and sports journalists need to pounce)
If Sankey was worth a dime as SEC Commissioner, he would be squelching all this nonsense. Instead, he's stirring the pot.
FTR, I do not want us to leave the SEC. Rather, I want Sankey's butt out last year and he can take his UT, OU, and Mizzou love bugs with him.

TEXAS is pushing this 100%

Texas should be banned themselves. They actually did it

Where are you getting this from?

Their perpetually cunty existence

I mean thats fair but makes no sense for Sankey to be doing their bidding. Georgia, Bama, and Ole Miss sure but Texas? Makes zero sense this is their third season.

I know, I have no idea who is behind it. Just wanted to shite on UT real quick

No this is Tenn, Ole Miss and Bama. Tenn and Ole Miss from being butthurt and Bama from watching their existence as a power slowly sink with UGAs Texas and LSUs rise and their slow death. Texas should get with LSU and say hey remember the big 8?? I do….you in.

To be fair, Texas has ruined every conference they have ever been a part of. Nebraska couldn’t get away from them fast enough.

The Protect College Sports Act.
The NCAA and conferences want it passed because they're tired of courts slapping their rules down. However, there's a good chance congress doesn't pass it. So they're trying to sway public opinion in their favor or explore other legal avenues to consolidate their power moving forward.
Lane and LSU were just the convenient targets of their crusade.

I don't think Texas was part of the old Big 8. They were part of the SWC that later merged with the Big 8 to form the Big 12.
Rice, SMU, and TCU were left out of the deal. Arky had already joined the SEC in '92.

Personally, I believe it's a combination of Tenner, Ole Piss, Texas and Alabama. Along with the crooks at the SEC.
Everyone ruined college sports. It's time to burn it all down and let it rise from the ashes like a phoenix.
If ALL other schools think that what is OR COULD happen to LSU this week. Could never be used as a blueprint to attack them. When the crosshairs get pointed to them for something they do. They're sadly mistaken.

And it's being propagated by the biggest imbecile in SEC sports history.
If Sankey had one modicum of sanity in him, he would be putting all this to rest. But he isn't. Why? (I have no idea. That's why it's just unmitigated madness.)
