Is the first I remember. Ensminger and Woodley were the QBs when I was in school.

Risher for me.

I knew of Jones, Woodley and Ensminger but I rode with Risher as a youngster

Carl Otis Trimble.. He was an option QB... I remember the first game my freshman year on '74 was against Colorado. The most memorable thing of that game is we had the last panty raid ever allowed. Makes me sad.

I guess mine was the Woodley Ensminger combo.

But, that's very early. So, I think the first one I really followed well was Hodson.
Mine was Alan Risher... I vaguely remember the team before him, but more aware of the RBs than the QB. I went to elementary with Hokie's little brother.

Risher and the Orange Bowl run (with Hilliard and James) was the first season I truly remember in detail.

Jeff Wickersham

He was the first qb I remember. I have his autograph and a number of others on a program from the early 80s when I was a kid.

I'll have to say Howard.

I knew of Hodson, but I think that's more from people talking about him, not me actually watching and knowing what was going on.
