I'm not sure upon what this can be based.

Have you seen our defensive line and offensive line play since then?

I think on a neutral field every single one of those teams could beat LSU. LSU also is capable of beating every single one of those teams as well.

Now, the ones I would expect LSU to actually beat:

8. Notre Dame
9. Ohio State
10. Penn State
11. USC
12. TCU
13. Oklahoma State
14. Washington State
15. UCF
17. Michigan State
18. Washington
19. NC State

I think Alabama and Georgia are simply better. Auburn is a coin flip. Oklahoma would beat us in a boat race. Wisconsin's lines would out-muscle us like Miss State did. Miami and Clemson are simply too clutch.

Right now, on a neutral field, I think we'd be favored against Washington State, UCF, Michigan State, Washington, and NC State. The Top 10 would all be favored against us. The others would likely be plus or minus three points or so either way.

I don't think anyone above us would play us with certainty. And that includes big bad bama.

LSU man handled them this year, and somehow still ducked it up

Realistically LSU is better than:

6. Auburn
8. Notre Dame
11. USC
13. OK State
14. WSU
15. UCF
17. Michigan State
18. Washington

Toss up against an untested Wisconsin squad and battle tested NC State.

I wouldn't fancy our chances against TCU but we're definitely more talented.

We aren't better than Ohio State ( you think O is gonna out coach Urban Meyer?! Gimme a break).

We aren't better than Penn State.

Considering we played alabama 2 weeks ago and they beat us by 2 touchdowns and we were never a threat, i’d say you’re wrong.

I think LSU should best most of these teams.
The most concerning imo is Alabama, Auburn, UGA, & Miami.

Yes, we are definitely improved and I'm not saying we wouldn't give Miss State a game and possibly even beat them if we played tomorrow.

But head to head they still beat the piss out of us THIS YEAR, so I'm not sure how you can say or even argue at this point we are "better."

They caught us when we were very gimpy.... DLine depleted, Oline still breaking in freshman.... DGuice clearly not playing anywhere close to full steam.

Today, that game would look very different. Not saying its a slam dunk we win, but even if we lose it is very close.
