When we played Moo State and Troy we were less than full strength. When we played Auburn we were at full strength. Furthermore, as we saw Saturday night and also when we played them, Moo State is far better at home than they are on the road.

Okie st. Would put 40 on LSU....
Michigan St. would shut this offense down.....
Miss St. has already been proven....
The rest don't really matter...
As I stated before... to beat most of these teams LSU needs a dynamic QB.....

Objectively, we're probably about where we should be, and not worthy of being ranked any higher.
Let's look at this season- we have 1 good win, Auburn, and that was a big comeback.
We have a relatively respectable loss to Alabama (in that we were able to move the ball some), a game we never led, never threatened, and that we beat the spread against because Saban decided to kneel instead of run.
We have comfortable wins against Ole Miss and Arkansas, 2 teams clearly struggling and likely going to change coaching staff after the season. We have a tight win against Fla, who's fired their coach since. Tight win against Syracuse, who's mediocre.
We have an unforgivable loss at home to Troy, and got our doors blown off by Miss St.

If we managed 10 on Bama defense. Then I'm sure we can manage to put up more on Mich St.
Okie St not dropping 40. They would drop 20 or 30, sure. But rest assured our backs would have a field day on that defense.
We need a better qb in order to beat Bama, but even with Etling as our Qb we are still a top 15 team.

Maybe....
You don't realize who we have AT QB.... I LOVE Etilings heart and toughness... But he is NOT the answer against most of these teams...........

I don’t think LSU is definitely better than any of those teams besides NC State. We are appropriately ranked IMO.

Never had a chance to beat Alabama. You have to score to beat them. MSU played Alabama much tougher than LSU did. Not only did MSU destroy LSU, but they are the only team to scare Bama thus far. Not sure why anyone could believe that LSU should be ranked ahead of them. Georgia only has 1 loss and Auburn only has 2, so LSU is the 5th best team in a weak SEC. The Troy loss just can't happen, regardless of injuries when you are LSU.
