Joe Burreaux's nads. Thank God they weren't as big as they played, cuz we would never have won a championship.

When I was a kid it was Tommy Casanova.
When I was a young man in college it was Jeff Dale.
Overall, it’s Tyrann Mathieu and Patrick Peterson.
I’m partial to defensive backs.

I really liked Hester and Ali Highsmith when I first started really getting into LSU football

My favorite is Joe Burrow for personal reasons. For years, I suffered from a rare form of metastatic I-formation blockages in the Bama region of my sphincter. I tried a several treatments with limited success: playaction therapy, jet sweep infusions. Nothing seemed to work until Burrow took full command of the offense. 60 touchdowns and one natty later, and I am proud to say that I am 100% malaise free. Thanks, Joe! I’m forever in your debt.

To follow on the DB topic - Mike Williams 72-74 one of the best DB's ever to play at LSU but kinda like Kenny Higgs in basketball never gets much love - I have an idea why but it's just speculation.
Also Willie Teal - original soul patrol member and played a long time in the NFL with the Vikings.

I've been following since late 90's and to me, as far as best at their position and game changers, Honey Badger and Burrow are on a tier above everyone else.
Glen Dorsey, Patrick Peterson and Fournette are close behind.
Then everyone else. Too many to mention
I think Harold Perkins could be in either of my first 2 groups after this season.

Burrow.
He got me higher than a Rastafarian at a Bob Marley concert.

Not even close. Billy Cannon. Remember, Cannon played in an era where players went both ways - offense and defense.
If my memory is correct, the night of his famous Halloween Scamper he was also involved in a key tackle inside the 10 that stopped the Ole Miss attempt to tie the score. The rest is the stuff LSU lore is made of.
Dude was a beast.

If you lived in this Era, or maybe not, watching this should give you goose bumps. Guy was amazing.
