Lacy gets a lot of separation in his routes. Comes out of his breaks with acceleration. Obviously needs to improve his ball skills, but feel like he’s got a chance to have a really good season. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up near WR2 or fizzles out entirely

A "healthy" Hilton will be alot of fun to watch if given the opportunity I think.

It’s also important to note Lacy didn’t start playing football until his junior year of HS.

Anderson is going to be a problem at lsu.

Hilton is very possible

I like Hilton but he has been in the injury house the first 2 years here. His schtick is his speed and able to take the top off a defense and if we're being honest if the QB position doesnt change we dont really do that at all.

And I'm not saying the QB position has to change, just being honest about what we've seen from Daniels vs. say Nussmeier. 1 guy airs it out the other not so much. IF we aren't throwing it downfield much there's not a huge need for Hilton to be on the field.

Man that's a really good looking WR room. Hard to go wrong with any of them

Still not sure what Bech was thinking.

Who knows. He’s shown himself to be very immature so I don’t consider him a loss at all

He faced athletic adversity for the first time in his life and he ran versus trusting the process and betting on himself. Hopefully he grows from it.

I’m sure he thought Boutte was staying. But frick, his decision really looks bone headed now. Could easily be a guy getting regular snaps at lsu.

as far as question in the OP

i thnk lacy prolly starts but i do think hilton and anderson get a lot of playing time because of speed and everntually take over.

for the freshman i think sampson can be big time big body guy who can go over the middle and will get playing time.

I expect Hilton, but any of the new kids could be electric.

I think Hilton gets it before him but we'll see.

Looking forward to seeing Anderson and Brown in P&G.

Don't give up on Lacy, he can be impressively physical after the catch. I see big things for this young man when he starts bringingthe ball in.

A note to add is I thought the WR unit seemed to be in a much better flow in the bowl game. Essentially not having any depth forced them to reduce the rotations quite a bit & give guys more consistent playing time. Hoping we keep that trend in 2023 as amount of rotations in 2022 seemed to have more of an adverse effect anything else

Would love to see more of a 4-5 man rotation more than the 6 man rotation played with in 2022

Maybe

Nabers
Lacy
Thomas
Anderson

Ibieta or Freshman with spot duty

With Nabers/Lacy/Anderson being pretty interchangeable at slot
