Lacy will get PT especially early. He is by far the best blocking WR and contributes solidly with some catches. He isn’t flashy and other younger guys might get the yards but Lacy is a blue collar lunch pale guy. Reminds me a lot of Racy McMath.

And apparently catches everything in practice and always seems open. I think he has a big 2023.

Anderson may be #2.

I would be okay with Lacy if he gets his drops in order, but what I want most is one speed option on the field at all times. Hilton or Anderson are my picks and moreover, I want Hilton to finally be healthy. Kid has 9 receptions for 190 yards in his career, but 2 of those catches went for about 130.

Still not sure what Bech was thinking.
While I understood it, I hated the timing. And this not a Boutte thing this was when it was initially announced. At the very least he should have waited til after the season was over. LSU WRs transfer and almost always perform well. Trey Palmer, Trey Quinn, John Diarse, Paul Turner, Jazz Ferguson, Alex Adams, Tyron Johnson.

I'm a huge Sampson fan. I think he's going to be a Michael Clayton type player for us.

I think Sampson will be a depth player this year and have a breakout year next year. Seems to have a similar skillset as Brian Thomas Jr. Big body, tall, rangy receiver, and a top tier red zone target.

Next season with Nabers, Anderson, Brown, Hilton, and BTJ will probably be the fastest WR corps LSU has fielded. Nabers and BTJ will be the slowest every down receivers for LSU.

Nabers is plenty fast & was our best deep threat.

Absolutely, I guess I should have said, "slowest". Track speed doesn't always translate, but Anderson, Hilton, and Brown were all sub 11.0 second 100m sprinters in high school.

What I was getting at is that if Nabers and BTJ are your "slowest" WRs out there, then that makes this group of WRs a
very dangerous bunch.
