I love listening to Ben McDonald and David Dellucci. Ronnie Rantz is the worst.

IIRC, State has some of the worst home announcers I've ever had the displeasure of listening to. You'll be wishing it was Rantz after this weekend

I have seen games all over the country. I used to watch the TCU and the Longhorns games. Rantz is terrible.

I find Ronnie to be very repetitive and generic. He also had a tendency to tell us too much about players and their travel-ball experience with him.
And I think a drinking game could have been made of him mentioning players parents names, like anyone gives a shite.
I used to get irrationally angry when he would always say
"Kade Scivicque, his parents are Steve and Missy Scivicque".
I didn't even have to look it up--I still remember this and it has been almost 10 years since Kade played here.
And do yourselves a favor and NEVER listen to his Saturday radio show "Sports Shorts". It will have you begging for Jon Fine to make a return to the airwaves.

It's up to MSU to designate their announcers. I can't remember their names, but from past experience, they've usually been good.
