I don't understand the Trant love of Lynn Rollins, he is hokey, horrible and just difficult to listen to. He used to call the minor league games in Alexandria and he was horrible there too. Ben McDonald is the best, he is knows the game and is easy to listen. Lynn go call games at Mcneese or something.

They do different things. Lyn is PBP, Ben is analyst.

Rollins is fine, he doesn't detract from the game, and when he has Ben with him, they play well off each other. Ben McDonald is among the very best in game analysts there is. I've seen him do studio work on ESPN and talk about draft stuff and he was excellent there too. Orioles fans seem to hold him in high regard as well.

Lyn and Ben together are the best in the business, you can't ask for more. Lyn with someone else is not quite there, but still good.

Lyn is okay for me. He’s kind of tacky yet nostalgic. As long he can still call games without sounding like he’s miserable being there like Hawthorne was at the end, I don’t mind him. But Ben is tGOAT.
