I still don't understand how Peyton Todd isn't the punter. I saw that kid fricking bomb some kicks in camps, idk. I thought he was JK Scott snd could flip fields for us

Soc, weren't there rumors on here he was fighting the yips or inconsistency or something like that? I thought I remembered hearing something about him but can't quite remember at the moment.

I have a feeling coach house has wanted Pimpton on the field often for the match up and if he’s lighting our secondary up, Denbrock may be loving it, but House is concerned for game 1

I thought the same about Welch. I told people they were going to be surprised by Sam. If you have time to check it out, watch the replay of the Marshall game against ND in South Bend on YouTube. That will give you an idea of what Sam brings to the table. All over the field making plays

Not many guys left that are surprises. For me, I'm not shocked if a guy is not in the rotation until his 3rd year in the program. In today's college football, people hit the portal before then so I may never be surprised again.

I've never liked a 5* kid more. Such a happy dude. Wish he'd have worked out

I thought Jackson might have had a better run after watching his HS highlights. Maybe he just needs time to adjust like most youngsters.

Will Campbell, Emory Jones, Mason Taylor and Harold Perkins may disagree.
Perkins didn't start till late in the season, Jones didn't start immediately. Campbell and Taylor play a position where there was zero depth... and did well. But both had growing pains, especially game one

Bryce Langston. I watched his high school highlights and thought he was going to be a stud.

Jones must be very good

Savion Jones played very well last year. He was behind Ali Gaye, who was a stud.

You must not be reading much because according to Denbrock, he’s going to find anyway he can to get pimpton on that field this year due to how great he has looked throughout practice and in scrimmages.

Yeah I was under the impression he had been ahead of schedule and was going to be utilized often.

Certainly haven't heard anything negative coming out about him.

I really thought Welch was primed for a good season.

Denver Harris. Thought he'd be a starter when we got him. Lot of problems with him so far.

I saw many mention Welch. I thought as long as he was in rotation, he's good. I expect him to be starting in 2024.

I'm going with the Welch squad. Of course he's only a sophomore so his time is coming.
