perilloux broke his heart. he gave the little punk sooo many chances. when rp's mom got involved, he had to cut the strings.
lm KNEW the future was bleak and did the best he could.
lm could not hurt the team anymore and had to protect LSU.
KATRINA, RP and nick have forged lm into a GREAT MAN!

I'll say probably RP, but one could also make a case for ZL.
W/ RP, 2008 would've been much different. 2009 would've also been better than the 9-4 record we suffered. The big question is what 2010 would have been like w/ a seasoned and talented senior QB? Instead of losing to AR and eventual BCS champion Auburn, could we have beaten them?
OTOH, had he stayed at LSU, ZL conceivably could've been the QB for the '11 season. Maybe we could've beaten 'Bama w/ ZL instead of JJ/J. Lee and won the BCS.
It's really scary to consider how good we could've been recently w/ better, not even spectacular, QB play.

Peririloux has haunted the QB position since he was here. It forced LSU to play with Jefferson as a true freshman, and Other than the short stint by Mett, we have had a lot of inexperience Including AJ last year.
We have a great chance to break the bad QB cycle with Brandon Harris for the next two years, and attract a couple of very good QBs on the recruiting trail.

Hatch dying on the field was a nightmare.

Gotta be RP ...man that td to byrd (i think) against Tennessee in the seccg is one of my favorites
If RP doesn't frick up 67,454 times and les makes a competent DC hire we could have had a real go in 08 and 09

Miles' still sees Lee's pick 6's in his sleep.
We all like to think that with Perrilloux LSU repeats in 2008, but let's be real. That team with Lee at QB put up a shite ton of points despite the pick 6's, but that defense coached by the dual defensive coordinators was complete garbage. I think we would have been better with Perriloux, but I doubt we would have contended for a national title with that defense.
Kiel isn't even on Miles' radar these days.

Perilloux. He was going to kill it and really keep the momentum in this program going. Those 2009 and 2010 programs could've been National Championship caliber.

The better question is whose dreams Les Miles haunts more.
I would imagine Perrilloux wakes up with cold sweats around 4 nights a week to this

Who haunts Miles' dreams more?- Perrilloux, Kiel or Zach Lee
I bet Miles sleeps on a mattress stuffed with shredded c-notes that he changes out every month. His dreams are all strawberries and cream and cute chick sideline reporters.

Perrilloux should haunt all tiger fans dreams

The honey badger. We likely win the 2012 title if he doesn't get kicked off the team.

Jarrett lee is the correct answer. His pick 6's are the reason les wont let us open up the offense anymore
