Who has a bigger year? Ja’Marr Chase or Terrace Marshall?

Both sophomore receivers will be studs for the tigers.

I’m taking Chase this year with a huge season.

Chase is the easy answer after what he did last year, but people forget how good Marshall was in high school. There’s a reason he was a top 15 player in the country regardless of position.

I’ve been saying Chase since the end of last year.
He’s going to wreck shite this year.

Seems like Chase is the easier answer. He was more involved in the offense last year. Hard to know what to expect from Marshall.

Wasn't Marshall slowed by an injury for a good part of last year as well?

I honestly think they'll both have great years but they're different players.

Chase seems to excel on the boundary where as Marshall looks to be good at the intermediate routes around the hash marks.

Between the 2 of them they only caught 35 passes last year so that's a pretty limited sample for me to make much of a judgment on.

If they can both get into the 35-40 reception range next year they'll have done enough to help the team. I expect the ball to be spread out a lot with Jefferson being our leading WR again at around the 50-60 catch mark range (which is about where he was last year I believe)

I think Chase has the bigger year in catches and yards because of the way he fits in the offense. However, I think Marshall has more big, down the field plays because of how he can stretch a defense and go get the ball.

Chase. Marshall reminds me a lot of Reuben Randle though

Easy answer is Chase but Marshall is supposed to be 100% and he’s no chump

Hopefully we have linemen that can block or neither will have a big year. Looking real thin.

Chase could turn out to be a top 5 LSU receiver, he's big, strong, fast and has good to great hands. Marshall has potential to be great also, maybe better than Chase but I wouldn't bet on it. They both have potential to be all SEC/AA.
