IMO, this matchup in Vegas is exactly what we should be playing. I like BIG neutral site games in new NFL stadia. Apparently a lot of LSU fans do as well as there are a ton of us in Vegas right now.

Geaux Tigers!

Fans in Vegas will be happy to stay for whole game rather than just the first half in BR.

Certainly not Lincoln Riley. Tried to get out of this game or any game against SEC.

I’m pretty sure that Verge Ausbury is in charge of doing all the leg work for making the schedules. I would think the AD with input from the head coach has the final say

Playing USC in Vegas is about as good as it gets for neutral site openers. New stadium.. check. “Destination” game.. check (who doesn’t want an excuse to go to Vegas?). Big time matchup.. check.

But can I think that this neutral site opener is awesome while also thinking most of them suck? I’d rather schedule big home/home series in weeks 2-3 than neutral site openers, personally.
