Whoever starts needs to be the guy least likely to give up free passes. If we can get through the 1st 3 innings without being down 3-4 runs we’ll win this with our bats. KY isn’t that good honestly. They aren’t OKlahoma.

I'm thinking its Guidry to start. Then a combo of Sheerin, Garcia, Rizzy, and Fontenot. I do not want to see Williams unless its to face a left handed batter and that's it

I’d throw someone that doesn’t tend to give up free bases for the first few innings. If we can get a 2 or 3 run lead…Kentucky’s small ball plan is less effective when they’re playing from behind.

Guidry - 8 outs
Sheerin - 8 outs
Williams - 4 outs
Fontenot- 4 outs
Noot - 3 outs

No particular order

Pretty much agree except I don't think Guidry can get us 8 outs and Garcia and Rizy should be available.

I'd like to see Garcia get a shot at it.

Did he grow 5” overnight?
However, to answer the question, maybe Williams, but will definitely be a short leash. Then the brigade- Sheerin, Guidry, Garcia, Noot, Fontenot, Dathe

Sheeran gonna go 5+ to open today.

If Williams isn’t getting squeezed, he’ll go 2.

Garcia and Guidry to close em out….

….and get that Sat/Sun sweep I tole yall about.

Williams will pitch at some point today. My heart rate will increase bc we don’t know which version walks out of the pen. But the one thing everyone here needs to know is that this team doesn’t make a run without being able to rely on guys like him. You might as well let him work out the issues now bc we need him down the stretch.

I like Guidry as a reliever. I definitely expect to see him today.

I would start Noot. I am not as down on Williams as you, and could see Jay starting him. Jay seems to like him and is still trying to give him opportunities. The talent is there, and he will need to be more consistent to keep getting innings. I'll give up on him when Jay does.

We just need a guy to start that doesn't walk and hit batters. Our team seems fragile when playing from behind. Our positive pitching seems to motivate the hitting. I don't like us trailing.

Love all the down votes, but I called it...Guidry gets the start

I wouldn’t start Guidry because he is fairly good coming out of the pen in high leverage situations. I’d let someone else start and bring Guidry in when he gets in trouble.

I like Guidry here. He'll give us a spark in front of the Home crowd

Guidry is a dud as a starter. Just don't get it.
