Can someone enlighten me on why the entire roster tried to leave?
They can't follow Will Wade anywhere. Lots of playing time available.
Assuming Coach McMahon didn't tell them specifically to look elsewhere. Why not stay where you are?

Entering the portal and leaving are 2 different things. Just being re-recruited by coaches they don’t know…..including McMahon.

Certainly a step down in conference for Gaines but UAB is shaping up to likely be even better next year than the 27 win, NCCA tourney team they were this season.

We will almost assuredly be eligible for the tournament next season. If a postseason ban comes it most likely won’t be till the next year or even year after

Maybe because their coach was fired tight before the tournament, id imagine that didnt sit too well with some guys.
