Who do you think all the neutral college football fans will be rooting for on Monday?

I figured it would be LSU and the Coach O and Joe Burreaux underdog story, but from the looks of what I've found there's no clear favorite (except between cfb bettors who have 70% of tickets on LSU). I guess Clemson has done a pretty good job of painting themselves as a victim.

I mean people tag #GeauxTigers and #AllIn when trying to get social media likes so this isn’t really telling

my only guess is its really anti SEC rather than for poor old Clemson.

I think the general public is still somewhat sick of the SEC being in every championship for the past 15 years and getting benefit of the doubt(Bama).

My thoughts exactly lol. You don’t just see normal people using hashtags that aren’t their teams motto..

I think thats only part of how they made the determination in the map from OP but I agree that would be a pretty awful way of determining who youre rooting for if thats what they used. I would use #allin if i were watching the WSOP on espn

purely anecdotal, but I was with 28 people from all around the country last week...

2 Clemson fans (one had a nephew on the team, I think?)
26 Rooting for LSU, and adamantly wanting the real tigers to win.

I’m out in Cali and I’ve never gotten so much positive attention to me wearing my LSU cap almost every single day. I doubt that Cali being painted Clemson Orange is correct.

Hard to say. You have the anti-SEC crowd, but you also have the people tired of Clemson.

LSU hasn’t exactly been humble in the run this season lol. They have never been afraid to say they are going to beat someone and I love it. That plus the anti sec stance a lot of other conferences have are driving some people to Clemson.

Also if you are a fringe college football fan you might not see through Dabo’s phony persona and think he is a likeable guy.

Louisiana has a lot of positive, mysterious image nationally. New Orleans, the food, swamps, voodoo, alligators all add to the image of Louisiana.

What does South Carolina have? Most people do not even know what state Clemson is in.

Add in Coach Orgeron, Burrow and the crazy fans and most casual fans will be pulling for the real tigers.

I figured our Badger brethren would be pro-LSU. The result didn't go our way in Lambeau, but both fanbases had a blast with each other. Those folks can drink.
