Well, of course I wouldn’t be complaining if it was my team. But, as a whole I think parity is good in sports. It makes it fun to watch for everyone.

don't blame Saban; blame everyone else for not doing more to keep up.

But, if it was LSU, we'd love it. I dislike Bama, but I respect what they're doing. It's not his fault no one wants to step up to compete.

Yep. Everyone playing for 2nd place. It's sad really, the NCAA has allowed this to happen

It may be worse in some ways for viewership, but it gives the sport more and more legitimacy. Set the rules, let the game sort itseld out and not manipulate the sport we all love. It's abaolutelt uncommon ti have this level of sustained success. But when it happens it makes earning it all the more sweet for any team, not just Bama.

NCAA shouldn't step in and DISallow it to happen by gimping Bama intentionally. Why even watch the sport if that's how business were conducted? That would be like participation trophies or whatever.

I’ve been saying this for a while and people who love CFB just tell me I’m wrong. They’re ruining the sport. This is the biggest issue ... there is nothing preventing the rich getting richer. Pro sports often have things in place to make it tougher on good teams (the NFL puts the good teams last in draft order, last in waiver order, and gives them the toughest schedule). What will stop Bama besides Saban retiring? And if they get Dabo, how long does this go on?

And it’s just 100x worse for us because we’re in their division. We can’t ever do anything because we always have to play them. It’s horrible.

BINGO- skip's ego prevented at least 8 more natty's for us in fb. All you jackasses think about that before you praise his dumbass because he dominated a 2nd rate sport no one gives a FLUCK about 30 feet off of our campus. Because bertman walked on water around here, he was able to win the pissing contest with saban, and now we are stuck with a B program on the gridiron. I'm not bitter about this though.

Listen man...if I was in your shoes, I’d be loving every minute of it too. It’s got to be a great feeling to be a fan of a team and know that you’ve got the best coach and the best players and an elite QB for the next two years. And, for the foreseeable future as well. But, I think most other people would like to see some parity.

HAHAHA!!!!

If Saban were our coach.....how much would we care about the "fun/excitement" level in college football??

Probably not much.....

Saban has truely cornered the market in college football. College football will not be the same as long as he coaches Alabama. College football and future of LSU football looks very bleek.

Do you really think they would have to look that hard to find something?

All programs bend the rules and cheat when it comes to recruiting violations and benefits towards current players. You know for damn sure they'd find something with those people if put under a microscope.

They’d find a lot of shite on us too.

Just face it. Bama is our daddy until Saban or Alleva leaves. We can have some nice seasons (like this one is shaping up to be) and play second fiddle, which isn’t all terrible, but we’re not getting back to the top without a paradigm shift.

I disagree that there is nothing the NCAA can do. I'm willing to bet if Saban had stayed we'd have gotten some sort of recruiting violation and have been out on probation. The SEC office in Birmingham would have made sure of it. Do people not remember the NCAA decimating SMU for recruiting violations, killing LSU basketball, changing the rules so Bear Bryant couldnt put football players on swimming scholarships. I'm sure if digging was done they could find something.

Maybe but what can they do? Hire somebody to plant a dead hooker in Saban's trunk?

Well, they could have treated like any other team when they displayed lack of institutional control while on probation and given them the death penalty. Since then, there is no threat to anything UAT wants to do. None.

Don't. Just don't.

He is a troll posing as a Bama fan. I mean, the retard couldn't even manage to get Saban's name spelled right in his username.

The NCAA could investigate their shameless manipulation of the conference, their benefits program, their lack of drug testing, and use of PEDs. But that will never happen with Saban’s bff running the NCAA.

The business side of CFB will eventually care. The NFL solves the talent disparity problem with the draft and it keeps half the fans very interested in the NFL until the last game of the season. I don’t know how you would implement measures in CFB to increase parity but it seems like it should be done.

.... And when/if this ever happens (parity in CFB) that’s when Lil Nickki says goodbye! Bc although many people think Lil Nickki is some GOD of sort he’s only as good as he is bc of the talent disparity between Bama and the rest of college football... You make college football even Lil Nickki ain’t shite! Facts
