Les x 1000

I felt like Les was always going to do enough to not get fired and would drive us to mediocrity. It was just awful with Les especially 2011.
Ed got lucky to get the job and to win a natty but no one thought he was the answer long term.
Kelly I had high hopes and still think he’s a really good coach. Maybe just a wrong fit?

I really liked miles and wanted 16 to turn it around for him and didnt hate O even if he was pretty dumb. It seemed to met a lot of things were out of his control and many in it spiraled the program to oblivion. Again i was hopeful to the end that he could turn it around but Kelly was a douche and an embarrassment IMO. He's the only one I was happy to see fired.

Les Miles was a good coach. But att the end I was ready for him to go

I never had much faith in O. He proved me wrong for a very big season. I don’t remember caring either way when he was fired.

I did not like Kelly’s personality from the beginning BUT I respected the guy as a coach and thought he would run a tight, disciplined ship. It’s hard to support a guy who is kind of a dick AND just doesn’t seem to be in control of things.

I never thought they’d fire Kelly this year even after the season, much less during the season. Yesterday was a pleasant surprise.

But last night when Kelly was fired, I felt zero remorse, zero sympathy, nothing for him whatsoever.

I don’t really feel much sympathy for any of these coaches that get fired, honestly. They make millions in a single season to coach a game, then get paid millions to leave.

I’d come in and be a head coach and be the most hated man in Louisiana for a season if they give me just a couple million.

No question Less Miles. The buffoon should've been fired after 2005 and we take back Saban.

In the reverse order that you have them for me. Kelly, O, then Les

Les did not have a likable personality or demeanor.

He was a goofy idiot, but he was our goofy idiot. LOL

Was never a fan of the hire to begin with.

Feels like a weight lifted off chest

Definitely this. A&M screwed us that season by letting us win and he kept his job. Now they pay us back with a beat down and we get our firing.

Kelly mostly because I believed we were stuck with him for a few more years so it was more unexpected than the other two which were obviously coming to an end

KELLY, but not far behind was Miles. KELLY had put LSU in a position this that LSU could lose a majority of the 26 recruiting class and lose existing underclassmen and have few top portal transfers in. KELLY had made himself, thus LSU, toxic, and that takes years to overcome.
The timing of this was the best that could happen to LSU....thank you A&M, even though I hate you immensely.

Kelly gives me a “good riddance” feeling. I was ecstatic after O was fired.

I still miss Les. Best decade of football in LSU program history. No one else comes close.

Ed was a disaster after 2019. BK just couldn’t hire two good coordinators at the same time
