What are some good places to eat this weekend downtown in the midst of all the game buzz? Have a 1-year old with us.

If you like grilled Oysters then go to Drago's.

If you don't have reservations yet, good luck getting in anywhere worth a damn.
You could try maybe for a late lunch or early dinner. Go the food board and search around for suggestions.

What kind of food are you looking for? Traditional New Orleans cuisine? Seafood? Steak?Italian? Fried Chicken? Pizza? White table cloth or hole in the wall?

Not a lot of options in downtown New Orleans unfortunately. Dining isn't what the city is known for.

You have to be careful downtown.
A lot of the restaurants down there are catered towards tourists and the food is terrible.
I would say it's greater than 50%. A lot of new places and places owned by carpetbaggers who don't know what they're doing in the kitchen. They also price gouge on seafood because they know most people in the rest of the country are used to high seafood prices. Louisiana has some of the lowest seafood prices in the nation.

We walked to Diamond Street Bar and Grill last night in CBD and had an awesome meal. BBQ shrimp, prime rib and they have cheap beers.

If there’s a Bud’s Broiler around there, go.

Depending upon where you are staying, just start walking. You will find something quickly.
