Well Stanfords ace POTY is getting shelled 5 runs through 2 innings and still going. Stanford might as well pack it in for the season.

Not sure where they go if Stanford isn't one of the 8. Nobody from the big 12 or 10 is sniffing the top 8.
You go 5 SEC and 3 ACC? Or hope that coastal wins the Sunbelt give one to the little guy. The 7-8 spots won't be a team all that deserving of a top 8.

That group is locked into 1-3, and the other into 4-6. The order is just still TBD.

Give me 4 seed. I’m not scared of a potential wake forest matchup in Omaha.
I just hope we end up on the side of the bracket with least amount of SEC teams still in contention

Regardless where we seeded, we are capable of beating any team in the nation, down the stretch this team has played down to competition and questionable coaching choices at times (not huge)
But I wonder sometimes, Lol
We just need to put the regular season behind us asap and look forward and just be a scrappy team and do their jobs and we will be fine
As long as we’re hosting a super, I’m fine, so gimme 6,7,8, don’t matter, if we get 8, we paired with wake in Omaha if we make it.

There wasn't a chance of this if they won the entire tournament. Stanford is somewhere between 7-12

I didn’t think there was either. This just shuts the door on any convoluted reasoning that could have justified breaking up the SEC-ACC party at the top.

At this point it almost looks like they will have to screw over 1 SEC, or ACC team just to not have the entire top 8 consist of two conferences.

They really are running out of viable options to put in the top 8. Stanford is down to #14 in the RPI with no Top 25 wins. Indiana St is #9 but 2-9 against Quad 1. Coastal Carolina is #12 and only a little better at 7-6 vs Q1 with 11 losses outside Q1. DBU is #15 and 2-7 vs Q1. WVU slid to #22 after a 5 game losing streak. Not a lot of attractive candidates there.

As long as it is in the top 8, they have met their primary goal. Everyone starts from scratch next weekend.
