And do what exactly? Go up against Wideouts that have been running routes and getting off blocks for years? Not happening.
Unless he figures it out he is only on the field because he is a wild card and with wild cards you can beat anyone and lose to anyone in the SEC.
He is a nice guy and all, I just hope he can coach.

In a world where Anthony Richardson is a starting NFL QB and first round pick, Daniels will get some NFL love. 3-5 round would be my early guess.

He doesn't have Richardson's Arm or strength.
He is a nice guy so I wish him success.

Late first day.

I like him as a college QB. In no world is he a first round pick (which is the first day). He is a long shot to go before round 4 which starts the third day.

Daniels’s arm is underrated around here, but yeah, it’s not the same as Richardson’s. Daniels will still have some pretty nice measurables nonetheless.

He should switch positions to wide receiver if he wants to go the NFL

Sorry, I thought first day was rounds 1, 2, and 3. So, I meant somewhere in the third round, maybe a late second round.

I was told this offseason he was a ‘Hesiman candidate’ this year?

Didn’t he have top 5 odds in the preseason?

And winning the Heisman historically has little correlation to NFL draft status

Very unlikely he goes undrafted.

I predict he goes in round 5 or 6

No worries. This site isn't any worse/better than other mock draft sites, but it hasn't been updated since May. They have him mid 4th round and the 12th best QB.

7th or undrafted unless he develops a downfield game this season somehow.

Just imagine how far his star has fallen just in two weeks. Went from Heisman contender possibly favorite to a nobody.

Amazing. #NussorBust

So he will be drafted if Biden sparks WW3?

This is what happens when you try to involve politics in everything, you almost inevitably make the eventual stupid statement trying to do so, often repeatedly.

I seriously doubt that he gets drafted unless "Biden start World Warlll."
I stolen that quote from another poster.

Based on recent conversations with NFL scouting sources, it’s clear that NFL scouts have a much higher opinion on Daniels as a prospect than some in the media.

quote:

“I think he does (have first round traits),” an NFL scouting source said. “If you take his three or four best games from this past year, I probably think he’s a little bit better than (former Tennessee star and Detroit Lions third-round pick) Hendon Hooker, honestly. The scheme is better for Hooker in terms of numbers and production, but some of the stuff that Jayden Daniels does I think translates (better). I think quarterback coaches are going to like this guy. I think scouts are going to like this guy.

Undrafted free agent.

Jayden thinks his ticket to the NFL is a stat-rich resume. Low interceptions to pass ratios etc. He will not trust his reeivers in one on one situations to battle for the ball, ergo the NFL isn't going to hire him to hand it off. If ROHAN DAVEY didn't start, NO WAY Jayden Daniels ever has a chance.

And don't give me that "ROHAN" was behind BRADY...ROHAN could absolutely sling it, something Jayden will not do.

SO NO, Jayden will not be drafted, but invited to try out for a desperate team's 3rd QB slot.

You read it here first.
