One TD by Kentucky was a punt return and not on the defense.

LSU wins the game without that punt return
also LSU offensive line does not dominate like a championship caliber team and it is what it is. LSU cannot open holes against a typical SEC defense

Unfortunatly it doesn’t work that way.More than one 100 mill coach got beat yesterday,go look. This is the new era of college FB.Every week it’s like this.By the way would you have turned down 13 mill a year,Fn no you wouldn’t have so don’t blame the money that has NOTHING to do with Ws and Ls.

Like I posted in another thread, Cignetti has completely warped y’all’s expectations.

1 coach has done what yall are demanding Kiffin do.

How bout you just answer the question instead, since this is all so clear to you.

In today's NIL/Transfer portal era, what does he not have that he'll have access to later?

Nothing our program has done in its entire history denotes we get to be as entitled as the OP.

We become the next dynasty? Then we can bitch when seasons flop.

Until then. Lower your expectations

Different players? Different coaches? Less injuries?

What are you even asking?

Plus you’ve been here for 16 years and have 30k posts, I’m not sure you’re the guy to be making that case…but again, you’re an idiot

UCLA has wins over Cal, San Diego State, Purdue, Maryland and Oregon.

The Ducks are the only respectable team of the bunch, and they lost to a putrid Okie State.

The bottom of the Big10 sucks, which inflates the records of the merely average.

Maybe we should go play in a shite conference like Indiana then so we can pad our stats. You can't tell me how shitty of conference it is and we shouldn't go there and then glorify coach that dominates that shitty conference.

Indiana pistol whipped Bama 38-3, and Ohio State, Oregon twice, and Miami last year.

So, you're suggesting we change conferences?

That's the Kiffin defenders position? "It's too hard!"

It’s not reasonable to expect instant championships in year 1 no matter how much money you throw at something.

Depth. He’s been talking about a lack of depth for months. Before any of the injuries he said it was a concern. You already said you “don’t want to hear it” so I don’t really see a point in wasting my time explaining it to you.

You’d rather melt and demand immediate results rather than letting he and his staff build the program.

You can’t never really judge a coach on his 1st year sunny. I mean you can, but you shouldn’t.

You're not reading into what he's saying though. Indiana was able to do that because the schedule they played was so weak. They were 100% going into the post season.

Old Dominion----Unranked
Kennesaw State-----Unranked
Indiana State----Unranked
Illinois-----Unranked
Iowa (first challenge?) RANK 23 basically Unranked
Oregon (first serious challenge) RANK 5
Michigan State----Unranked
Ucla----Unranked
Maryland-----Unranked
Penn state------Unranked
Wisconsin----Unranked
Purdue----Unranked

They played ONE serious team before they had to face Ohio State and Alabama.

Yes, they were a very good football team. But it's a lot easier to maintain a healthy football team throughout the year and waltz into the post season when you play one team with a pulse before you get to that point. I mean half their schedule usually has schools on it that casual fans don't even know exist.

LSU played 5 ranked teams last year.

That’s a wild position given the game last night. The defense put us position to win and the offensive failed to put the nail in the coffin. Kentucky scored a total of 6 points in the second half despite Kentucky getting short fields.

The reality is LSU had the ball twice in the last five minutes with the ability to close out the game. The first was a horrific turnover and the second was a bad coaching call. It’s 4th and 1. You’re one yard away from sealing the win.

Kentucky came into the game average 36 points on offense and the defense gave up 20 in regulation.

Depth

I agree with depth and was also thinking experience in his system. A whole off season with a healthy QB would be nice.
