Ordinarily, I would and would not care about the consequences. However, once I sign my name and take up with LSU, that professor could compare my last name to identify my kid. That I do not want.

My kid was smart enough to walk out and ignore it, with a text to me: "I'm usually pretty neutral on a lot of things but what I don't agree with is thinking it's okay to agree with someone dying over a political view."

My kid, who is a student at LSU, just texted me:

"Oh my God my history teacher is so liberal. She was saying rest in peace Charlie Kirk but he spoke out for the gun policy and put his money where his mouth is."

Of course, I asked the professor's name and was informed it is Heather Thornton. I asked what history is she teach and why would Charlie Kirk be a topic in her class.

The response was: "Whenever we walked in she said that. It's Western Civilization. Yea whatever libtard."

Professor Thornton maintains a Facebook page (Heather Thornton-Young) and Twitter "X" account (Dr. Heather Thornton @HDTCallmeDrT). Her recent posts are anti-Trump. See 6/24/25 and 5/27/25 posts.

LSU Admin if you are monitoring this, maybe you need to question Professor Thornton about why any one who is pro-2A deserves to be murdered!
