when superstitions pay off

I have always been superstitious when it comes to LSU football and baseball. This year I wore the same shirt, shorts, jersey and LSU boxers (my wife got me for fathers day from fanatics. no pics of wife) and socks and shoes for every single game. I also used the same Irish Spring body wash for every game. it was the only time I used it lol.
I started this for the first game and figured I would do it until we lost and thank God we didnt.
Now did it help LSU win, probably not but I wastnt willing to take that chance lol

I wore the same cheap shirt each game. I may put that shirt into a shadow box now

Luckily, I made sure to do something different almost every game. I am freed from the tyranny of superstition.

I thought about doing the same
I wore my 18 jersey all year but I have a Burrow championship jersey from DHgate now and thats what I will wear next year mroe than likely.

I decided against attending the SEC champ game, because the last time I attended, we lost to UGA, and against attending the NC game, because the last time I did we lost to Bama.

I got some sweet purple and gold shoes for Christmas but they arrived after the OU beat down. So I wore them to work Monday and removed them at 7-17. Next year they will be lucky. This year they brought the bad juju until I took them off.

My 6 year old Daughter wrote Go LSU in crayon on a piece of paper and brought it to me during the first big game. She also labeled it BaB (Dad). I proceeded to have it with me for every game.

I've been wearing the "MISSION JANUARY" Shirt since 2011 !!! I wrote with a black sharpie "ACCOMPLISHED" under it !! Shirt is officially retired !!

Bought a new shirt for the Texas game because how hot it was going to be. Made sure to wear it during every game this year after!

on the flip side, I have been superstitious about LSU football my whole life. Until this year. I let it go said whatever happens happen I'm just gonna enjoy it. And what do you know.

I always try to not believe in superstitions so when the
game comes on I'll wear a random LSU shirt or hat and
see if the Tigers can pull it out without me. I lasted till
right before the end of the first 1/4 before I put on my
lucky t-shirt and hat I've worn since 2003.
Maybe there is something to it after all.

I have an old purple hoodie (complete with Tounces) that I wore every single game this year. Never washed it, never took it off during regulation, and it wasn't always the most comfortable clothing choice. I'm retiring it and framing that sucker in a shadowbox in my office with my Peach bowl ticket. I ordered a new purple National Championship logo hoodie to replace it for 2020 and beyond.

I have a t-shirt my wife got me for the 2011 Alabama game, I've worn it this year for Bama, SEC Championship, and playoffs....

Wore my Fournette jersey for every game. I forgot it at home when I went offshore before the aggy and SEC Championship games. Had the wife overnight it to the heliport and flown out to me both times. 47 bucks a piece

I’ve worn one of two favorite LSU t shirts for every game this year. After the first 3 offensive possessions with only 1 first down, I changed my shirt and the rest is history

I buy new polos each year. This year I wore the same polo I wore during the 2007 season. I may retire that polo now. It’s too special.
