I came home from work right before game time in my work uni. I walked back to the Bedroom and put my lucky shirt on over my uni and walked back into the LR to watch the TV. My wife was sitting there looking kinda bewildered so I told her that you never under estimate the power of the Lucky Shirt. She scoffed so I told her that probably didnt mean shite but I wasnt stopping now!

When we lost to Bama in 2011, I thought it might be our cat. So I had it put to sleep last week and it worked.

Seriously, I know better than to think anything I do has an effect, but when my mom asks me to wear the LSU shirt she bought me 20 years ago for luck, I listen.

For each game I sat in the same spot on the sofa, paced in front of the TV (less than previous years), yelled at the TV, dogs and family and drank beer.

Based on our undefeated season I believe I will continue this tradition indefinitely!

I have been superstitious about LSU football from an early age and I’m old as the hills now. If I told you some of the stupid superstitious things I do (or don’t do) before and during LSU games, you would think I’m certifiably crazy. I know better than to think any of this has any bearing on the outcome of a football game being played hundreds of miles away from my home but I still do it in the event there is a one in a million chance that it somehow matters.

I've worn my Tyrann Matthieu jersey for every game since 2017. This year I added smoking some sort of meat for every game. I plan on retiring the TM7 jersey but the smoker is now my tradition while wearing my new Burreaux jersey.

Must smoke victory cigar before the game (B/c I believe LSU will win).
Must drink Belgian Doubel/Tripel/Quad beer before the game.
Must drink during the game.

Did wear same gear for OU & Clemson.

Ok well mine is strange, if I'm not AT the game I dont wear LSU gear to watch the game. Last 2 times I wore an LSU to watch from home (Bama '18, Bama '14 and Kentucky '07). My daughter walking to the room Monday night ,while LSU is donw 17-7, wearing an LSU shirt. I asked her to change...then Boom

I bought a bottle of Pinhook Rye Whiskey before the Georgia Southern game and finished it during the Texas game. Then bought another bottle and had at least one glass for every game this season. Even brought a bottle with me to a wedding in Houston the weekend if the A&M game and went out to car and took a pull out the bottle before kickoff.

For the Natty I bought a brand new bottle and filled a flask. Had a tall glass on ice at the tailgate before. Tried to sneak the remainder in but Secret Service wasn’t having it. Stepped out of the line and downed the rest of it, tossed the empty flask in the trash, and walked into the dome.

Pinhook Rye Whiskey until we lose.
