I'm pretty sure they already know who the starter will inevitably be. However, they don't want to let it be known until they are pretty sure it is too late for the others to transfer.

I would guess they will announce who the starter is a couple of weeks prior to the first game to give the starter the most reps possible with the first team prior to the game.

MB was on pace for 4500 and 45 in 2020 and probably would’ve exceeded those numbers because of how bad our defense was. He is going to be the starter.

He is? Uhm what did he do during those 15 spring practices and in the spring game that says Myles Brennan will be the guy?

I mean, did he outshine the other two guys in the spring game and in the spring practices?

It already is.

IMO, Denbrock is being cute. They already know who's starting.

It’s really entertaining to see people speculate about who is going to start on opening day. I will lay 100 to 1 odds right now that Brennan will take the first snap, unless he does something physically stupid again.

All you knighting for MB need to wake up. He’s been here how long and and still can’t prove he’s the guy?

I don’t know how people can say shite like this. Like, are you mentally slow or do you just not remember the exact way things have played out with him or what exactly? I mean, we’ve had joe burrow here 2 years and myles has won the starting job once for sure and probably twice . This year would make 3 times . How many times does he have to win the job for people to see that he has takin charge of the team when healthy

Really? What makes you so confident that Myles will take the first snap? Was it his play during those 15 spring practices combined together with his play in the spring game that gives you so much confidence? Indeed, exactly what did you see? Can you describe it.

I'm just curious since all the reports out of the 15 spring practices was that Nuss was the best and the most consistent of the three QBs, and then in the spring game, even the ESPN announcers declared Nuss was the best QB of the spring game. Not only that by those ESPN announcers became so enamored by Nuss' play and elite arm talent that they even said he had the "it factor".

Now, I'm aware that Myles won the job in 2020, when his competition was two brand new true freshmen still very wet behind the ears.

However, the word prior to the start of the 2021 fall camp by numerous insiders was that Max had already won the starting job, and that was even before Myles broke his arm.

Meanwhile, what exactly has Myles done in the 15 spring practices and in the spring game that makes him stick out as the starter to you?

Cause according to everything I read was that Nuss was easily the best and the most consistent QB throughout those 15 spring practice, and obviously Nuss was by far the best QB in the spring game.

You’re outta your mind. MB is a heisman candidate according to you with those #s.

I hope by the start of week 2 so that the starter can get a full camp in. If I were CBK I would announce a 1st team, 2nd team and then also let every QB know that they can be replaced at anytime. If you don't produce in the game you get pulled. My heart says MB.

If the starter isn’t known, why do you need to have a press conference to tell everyone. As a coach it makes no sense.
