He hasn’t looked comfortable at the plate. Has he just not had enough at bats to get out of it?

After last year and his summer performance I thought he would be a big contributor this season.

He’s not seeing the ball well which is limiting his opportunity
Give it time, he’s going to get right

He’s not the defender that any of the top 4 guys are and he’s struggling at the plate in his limited chances. He’s just the odd man out right now, but the season is long and we may need him at some point.

Baseball is a great game, but it has a darkside.....most troubles in batting are when the player is thinking too much or trying too hard to get in the lineup.... this is a deep lineup with not much room for error. His swing looks fine but it's in his head now.

Hitting in baseball is like kicking in football except everyone except the pitcher has to do it.

Few are the kickers and batters who don't get the yips.

The only way out of the yips is to keep doing it until you see you are out of them.

If you are the backup kicker or not an everyday batter with the yips, it will take much longer to show you have gotten out of them.

The longer it takes to show yourself you have overcome the yips, the more it gets in your head.

Larson just needs time, he was seeing the ball great for most of last season's SEC play. If he can get in a few midweek games or even SEC games he will break out of it, Unfortunately for Larson tough maybe fortunately for LSU, there is a lot of production at the plate from the other option currently ahead of Larson.

We have so many capable outfielders and Arrambide could make a push for some time at DH.

He has to be a better defender than Brown

So very true...THE POTENTIAL IS THERE...just will take time to work itself out.

He doesn't get an at bat in like 5-6 games and people are asking why he doesn't look comfortable at the plate when he finally gets in?

Behind Brown and Pearson right now and isn't a candidate for DH. I think given this info he's pressing when he gets a chance.

Can see him being a transfer candidate depending on how the off-season shakes out. Hope he sticks it out though.

He is better than Brown or Frey and as good as Pearson in the outfield. And none of them is as good as Kling was in the field. But that position is mostly there for the bat on this team so...

IDK. I doubt it's mechanics.

He's demonstrated he can play well at this level. In another day-n-time, we would call this a "sophomore slump." Now that he's got at least three other direct competitors for PT (Brown, Pearson, and Frey) it's gonna take longer to return to form. If he was playing every day and slumping he would just get moved down in the batting order. But with other players available his chances are few.

He doesn’t run as well as Brown or Pearson. Frey is only getting DH opportunities right now because he’s swinging it really well.

Brandon needs to help the boy figure this thing out. To much talent from the larsons to have one sit the bench! I hope he doesnt see that home run record and let it get to his head thinking he cant live up to the larson name!

I think it’s pretty wild he’s not even getting opportunities to get out of the slump after how valuable he was for us last season.

If braswell can be arse for extended periods and brown look horrific fielding I don’t see why Larson’s leash is so short.

He is pressing bad.. instead of trying to have a quality AB and get on base he is going up there trying to make a hit happen. Which who can blame him with his limited opportunities.

Braswell's only competition is Reaves. Larson has like 6 guys ahead of him in the OF until he gets out of his slump. It's not the same situation.
