What a shite show that is. I like Ford during football season when he's going over the game stats and what not. But that show is terrible.

what annoys me most about moscona is the constant self praise

If I had a nickel every time that idiot used the phrase "in the ball game" when reading stats I could single handedly solve the current economic debt crisis. If the statistics were not for the game WTF were they for then?

Rag, you seem kinda unnecessarily bitter towards Moscona.
Personally, I dig Moscona's show...talks over people too often though. It became the second best show when Hanagriff and Ponamsky got going. Hannagriff's awesome on the radio, yet I'm not a huge fan when he calls a game. It's all kinda moot...both shows are good to me, plus they all always go on each other's shows anyway.

Every time I listen to Buddy he still pumps the usual sponsers ,Mathernes, Holliday Halmark and Manda. Buddy still does live remotes too. I assume he can't charge the same price as he did on 1210. Btw The Grand Bayou Casino song spot still plays on his show.

Great show.
I like how they also touch on the NBA and MLB and other sports that local sports talk tends to avoid. There's only so much that can be said about LSU at certain times of the year. Other shows force LSU too much when there simply isn't anything there (Moscona, he forces topics often and reiterates things way too much).
Good balance is what I'm saying.

To the OP, I like this show. Way better than Songy was during this time slot. Hanagriff has great perspective on all things LSU sports and is always on the money. Further, each guy brings a different dynamic and information pool that I enjoy because I know the angle. I've always just liked Ott too for some reason.

Good show but Ott is annoying a lot of times. Always has this stupid, old man in the bar feeling to his opinions.
They're better than Mascona though who loves to think he's more intelligent, and older then he is. Guy has no sense of humor and loves to talk.

Best show in BR, the only negative I see is Ponamsky is too biased towards LSU, which I guess should be obviously expected.

I keep forgetting to listen to it. I like Charles on the LSU broadcasts. Gordie needs to quit his management job and get back on the radio.

I agree...the way he speaks comes off like a cross between Jim Rome and SVP. It is really annoying and keeps me from listening. I don't know Matt personally, but he does come off arogant in the show. Not appealing. Hopefully he adjusts.

i think moscona has just turned into a cheese dick after he had a little success ... success that has far more to do with the financial backing, resources, and promotion of a strong broadcasting conglomerate that pretty much rammed him down baton rouge's throats ... somewhere along the way, i think matt convinced himself that it was/is all him .. which isn't even close .. truth of the matter is you could put buddy songy in that slot and if you pimped him and financially backed him like you have matt .. he would be enjoying the same success as moscona is ..
and i am not even close to being a songy fan ..
