When I have been in the past, we flew into Nashville and rented a car. Atlanta airport is only a bit further I believe. Knox has a decent airport maybe slightly more traffic than BR

Nashville still a long way. Fly into Knoxville. Unless you enjoy flying just to drive 3 hours

I believe McGhee Tyson Airport (maybe 10 minutes down the road from Knoxville) has flights to both Houston and New Orleans.

They’ve definitely got flights going to and from Dallas.

From New Orleans, I-59 all the way to Chattanooga and then 75 north to Knoxville. You get to see the worst parts of Mississippi and Alabama. It’s a wonderful drive

Flights from IAH to ATL are going for $250. Then it’s a 3 hour drive up to Knoxville.

Sounds like more of a pain in the arse than just driving

Only way I'd fly is if I didn't have to drive any after I got there

Understandable. Flights into Knoxville are going for $750 so wanted to provide an alternative.

13-14 hour road trips are a bitch

Getting a ticket will be nearly impossible. UT baseball is the hottest thing in eastern TN now and their stadium is tiny (4K).
