Prepare to shock the world early.

If you can split 50/50 with Saban, that is noteworthy.

It's will end 1-0. Kelly is about to send Saban to the nursing home after he catches a stroke on the sideline.

We were actually about .500 against Alabama in the period between Bear Bryant retiring and Saban really getting it rolling. Of course, Alabama had Ray Perkins, Mike DuBose and Mike Shula during part of that period and we had Saban and the first few years of Miles (before the offense got completely Stone Age).
If Kelly can go .500 against Saban coached Alabama teams, I would be happy.

I’d be thrilled with .500 after the past decade

I would say two. Why? Because chances are if CBK beats Saban then it will bring a championship. Two championships would be what I expect from BK.

The only thing I will accept is BK kicking the shite out of saban and really making him regret leaving LSU. On a side note: a bunch of bama fans were running their mouths tonight and I said atleast my my coach wants to be here and didn't make a public statement saying his biggest regret was leaving one of their biggest rivals. Half of them talked shite and said that didn't happen. The other old school bama fans just got quiet. I showed the the bandwagon fans the quote and they shut the frick up lol.

He just got a new contract. I bet Saban keeps going for 5 more years. Age 75 he'll hang it up.
How rich would it be he retires just to primary Tubberville when he comes up for reelection.

Auburn vs. Bama on the political stage.

Saban is not the focus.

After the first 2 years under Kelly, winning 1 or 2 out of every 3 games would work for me.

Say 9 years Kelly and Saban face off, what’s acceptable? 3 wins? 4 wins? Eff that we want most wins?

If Kelly could win 3 or 4 out of 9 games against Saban, he'd be doing better than anyone else. Auburn has been more successful against Saban/Bama than just about any other program and they are something like 5-10 against him over there.

I hope he has great success but LSU's history vs Alabama is marginal at best.

Only two coaches have won more than 2 games vs Bama. Miles (5) and Saban (4)

Since Saban has been there 4-12. MIles was 3-7 , Orgeron was 1-5.

From 97-2006 Bama's coaches were Mike DuBose, Dennis Franchione, and Mike Shula. And LSU was 7-3 vs Bama in those year. Dinardo was 1-2, Saban 4-1, and 2-0 vs those guys.

Maybe BK can turn that around.

I don’t base standard of success on record against a single school
