D

Anyone saying B is a fricking idiot. Brian Kelly would likely have the same record right now

If we win out he can get to a C+ or maybe B-

C - mediocre team, no improvement from last year. At best a 7-5 team.

Currently right now he’s got a D if he manages to beat Texas , Tennessee and Arkansas I would move him up to a B.
I can give him a pass on Ole Miss and a pass on Alabama, but there was no excuse to lose to Kentucky. My worst fear is we’re going to finish at seven and five and if we do he go from D to F.

D is fair. We haven't lost to any bad teams, but we haven't beat any good teams

It’s a D. He won 10 games just about every year at Ole Miss

Except for that pesky year 1 thing.

But by all means continue with your narrative building

B- I think we need to load up on OL and hope some WRs step up. The Ky game with no spy on the QB at the end was a head scratcher.

C-

I would have said higher, but the Kentucky last drive and OT were bad as was the end of the Bama game. Those two loses really hurt Kiffin’s credibility.

He came close with 1 yard against UK.

We're talking Kentucky with a first year head coach and significantly less talent.

C-. Some improvements in penalties, game management, TO’s and general attitude of the program.

Still underperforming or unacceptable: QB play, O-line, special teams.

What's the criteria?

Where I want LSU to be in any given year? D
Where I expected Kiffin to be in year 1? B+

Bad enough where if he does this 3 more years in a row he won’t have a job. This dumb 24 team playoff will prolly save a lot of coaches jobs though. We prolly make it with 3 losses every single year.

I give him an -A right now. Historically only 2 coaches lost 2 or less games during their first season. CLK took over a 7-6 team. I wanted better but I am realistic. I think this is the first time that we have been #1 in offense and defense in the SEC at the same time.
