Why is everybody so high on Auburn?

It’s not that I am High on Auburn, it’s the fact that the new QB will be walking into a Hornet’s nest. LSU’s last two trips to Jordan-Hare sucked. But this year, auburn circled this game for obvious reasons.

The talent to compete and beat everyone on the schedule is on the roster IMO. O has done a good job adding depth and I think adding burrow can make this a special season. I have high hopes

I feel Like beating Auburn at Auburn would be a very good sign.

We will finish the year 9-3... Next year 11-1.

In fact, he may be a worse coach than Orgeron (is that possible)?

It’s almost impossible to even consider, especially since Gus has won a title.

But he also blew a 20-0 lead to O last year. That has to be the most imbarrasing loss in his career

Let it be known:

If LSU starts the season 5-0, I will self-ban for a month.

Unless lsu has tons of injuries and suspensions, like state and Troy,

The Troy talent level was ranked like 100 last year and the LSU talent level was ranked top 10. You clowns need to come up with a better excuse for O shitting in his bed against Troy. O did in five games what Les NEVER did in eleven years of games. Lose to a fricking non-power five team.

It would be so much easier if people just said "yeah, he fricked up and I hope he learned from it" instead of making 50 excuses.

Florida is still not that good. They have real problems on offense, and no QB comparable to LSU's embarrassing riches (although inexperienced) at that position.
Yikes

I hope you're right, but I'm not ready to say we're rich at QB yet.

The only advantage I see for Florida v. LSU is drawing them at home 2 years in a row.
Yes, 2 years in a row, and that's a pretty heated rivalry. We won there last year. As you recall, it wasn't easy.

Taking 2 in a row at the Swamp, in consecutive seasons, is going to be very hard. I hope we get it, I hope we go 15-0. But I see us losing to Bama, probably Auburn, and likely at least 1 of Fla and Georgia. And honestly I'm a bit leery of A&M this year.

If LSU finishes this year 9-3, I have zero expectation they will finish 2019 10-2 or better.

If O can’t win 10 or more this year, will he ever? The excuses keep rolling on...

I don't think we'll beat Miami AND Auburn both away from TS. I am thinking 1-1 in those two. Cannot envision a 5-0 September this year. Too many new "parts."

Les only lost to one P5, non-SEC team during the regular season in all his time here.

2016 should have been a victory if not for poor time management and the clock expiring just before we got the winning touchdown pass off. We’re like one tenth of a second away from having a 3-game winning streak over Auburn.

There’s no reason we can’t win there this year with half decent QB play. Malzahn is overrated.

I'd feel a lot better about our chances at Auburn if that game wasn't so early in the year. Burrow and the offense will get better as the season goes on. But week 3, hostile environment, revenge game will be tough.

greed on troy. Lsu was without MANY starters on defense, and they ran all over aranda's backups. Lsu wins that one going away if healthy and players not suspended. But yes troy isn't terrible like many make them out to be. Ask Clemson.

Aranda's back-ups are better than Troy's starters and the talent difference between the teams as a whole are worlds apart.

You’re right. That was Chizik. That’s how forgettable he was.
