I don't remember exactly. Definitely a Bill Arnsparger team. Mid 80s. We used to slide down the Indian Mounds on cardboard and parked right across the street. Tailgating was big but way less corporate.

Aug 30 2003 vs ULM- just started as a freshmen, first experience tailgating and a night game in the student section, was the beginning of a lot of fun. My mind was blown by the energy in the stadium- and it got more intense as that year went on — I recall holding my Nokia and girlfriends Nextel under a giant empty soda cup as it started raining - at least I think it was that game

We lived in Louisiana, but both of my parents were raised in Texas and went to A&M, so didn't have any LSU influence in my life growing up. Had a family friend that was a big LSU fan and invited us to watch a game in 2002. Alabama smoked LSU and all of the scoring in the game happened in the opposite end zone from where we were sitting. It was also blisteringly cold.

LSU vs Auburn 1969. George Bevan and Mike Anderson were huge in that game, A blocked field goal and a blocked extra point led to a 21-20 Tiger victory on national TV.

My first game was around 1969. All I remember is walking up to the stadium with my Dad and the hippies were living in the stadium dorms. They had their windows open and were sitting on the windowsill with their legs hanging down and huge speakers blasting Led Zeppelin. That was a big culture shock for a 2nd grade Our Lady of Mercy kid!
Fun Fact:
I still have the same seats 13 rows up from the field in the NEZ and we still park in the same FREE parking spot as we did in the late 1960's. My dad had Tiger Town barber shop on State Street and all of the coaches and players (before the hippie days) would do there for haircuts.

Same! I was 13 and it ruined every other school’s game day/ stadium atmosphere for me!

1977 vs Rice. We won 77-0. It was the Carlos Carson/Charles Alexander show. Totals were 520 yds rushing, Alexander had 155 yds, and 244 yds passing, Carson had 201 yds receiving. Held them to a net of 78 yds of offense for the game. What's interesting is we played Indiana on the road first game of that year and lost 24-21.

Rice in 1976. I was 10. Walking up the ramp and into the stadium and seeing all those people was unlike anything I’d ever thought I’d experience. I still get the same vibe when I go in at 60.
The icing on the cake was when the student section started chanting, “What comes out of a Chinaman’s arse…Rice, Rice, Rice.” ????

Couldn't tell you the date or who LSU played. It had to be the late 80s (maybe early 90s). My dad took me. All I remember is it was Homecoming and the band played Johnny's Mambo from Dirty Dancing.

My first game was in the mid to late 90's at LSU against San Jose St,
When i was growing up you might see LSU on TV once a year if you were lucky. Saturday nights were laying in front of the console stereo in the dining room listening to John Ferguson do Radio call.
My dad was a high school football coach in Bossier City. He would ask meand my brother what play we would run and make a game of it. Those were some of my fondest memories. My mom would be sitting on the couch reading a book.
My dad went to college with the Natchitoches football coach and he got tickets for us to go with them to the San Jose St. game at LSU.
Being an LSU fan has been one of the priviledges in my life.
My wife during football LSU game time is sacred.

I was 12 when I first saw a game live. It was the UAB game in 2000. I think that was Saban's first year as well. Fricken Josh Booty.
