My first game was my freshman year, LSU vs Colorado in 1974. This was also the last game they allowed panty raids. That was a sad day when they were forbidden thereafter. The girls use to go to the T,G &Y and get cheap panties just for this. I remember getting on the roof of Power dorm (women's dorm then) and getting a pair of huge panties with the name and number of every girl on the floor. Fun times!!!

The earliest i can remember was 1970 when Texas A&M came in and squeaked out a rare win against the Tigers. I was 7 years old. Tommy Casanova & Bert Jones were on that team.

1988–Miami curb stomped LSU in a driving rain.

My first game was with my dad and mom during the 1954 season. We were in our Tiger Stadium seats that still belong to my family today. I don’t remember the specific game but I do remember that LSU was coached by Gaynell Tinsley and Vince ‘Chico’ Gonzales was playing for the Tigers. I saw several Tiger games from 1957-59 during Billy Cannon’s legendary college career.

Texas A&M. It must have been about 1973. I was a kid of about 10.

Against the Aggies in 1970. Bert Jones was introduced and we lost in the last 13 seconds when Paul Lyons went for an interception on a hail Mary. Sat in the south end zone just a few rows up right behind the goalposts. 2nd loudest game I've been to other than 1979 USC.
